How often has it been necessary or would it have been helpful to have a key centrally located in Ocean City for a vendor, insurance adjuster, a delivery person, or a family member to pick up your key in an emergency.

Now in Ocean City this service is offered at a very low price.

Multi-unit building services: You supply us with two keys to each unit, we will warehouse those keys for you and whenever the owner has authorized us, by fax or email or someone who presents your personal PIN number we will give out those keys for you for a charge of $9.00. We will bill the owner direct or the vendor can pay us in cash. If an officer of the building requests a key pickup then the association will be billed that charge. If an officer of the building requests all the keys be given to an exterminator or a contractor, the charge will be $15 total. Keys will never be given out unless instructed by email or fax, or only if someone knows your individual PIN number. There is a building setup fee of $50.00, and a $10 per unit charge up to 10 units; after that there is no extra charge unless more than 40 units. More than 40 units call us at 410-524-4800 for special pricing.
Single unit owner: For $25.00 you provide us two keys and we will include 1 free key hand over, to the first one who has your access code or who has email permission to pick up a key from us. After the first free key hand over the charge will be $9.00 each time there after.

The above describe services are not offered for weekly rentals and no key will be given out in the summer on weekends to non vendors or non-family members. Rates for key handovers go up significantly after 4:30pm and are considered emergency service and paid in advance as follows: 4:30pm to 6:30pm - $25.00, 6:30pm to 10:30pm - $50.00, 10:30pm to 9:00am - $75.00 per key handover. All of these after hours hand over charges can be handled at the standard $9.00 rate if advance notice is given and we can leave your key in our night box.

We will monitor by computer your key records. If your key is not returned back to Key Guard in 7 days, we will notify you by email and or a post card, that your key has not been returned. It will be your responsibility to have the key returned to Key Guard.
